Lessons You Can Take to the Bank, a pilot program for educating youth on financial awareness, was a great success at St. Stephen’s Koinonia Church this summer. We had 30 young people, ages 11-18, who completed two weeks of financial awareness training and then took part insummer employment opportunities that netted each of them between $200.00 and $400.00 over the summer. Moms and dads were happy that their children were able to afford their own school supplies this year–and many asked when we might have financial awarenss training for adults.
